My hand-carved wood spirit key rings are the perfect blend of artistry and functionality. Each wood spirit is unique, no two characters are the same. Ancient wood spirits are said to contain mystical powers, in fact the saying "touch wood" can be traced back to these beliefs. As each wood spirit is hand carved, sizes will differ but for a rough guide see image to right.
Postage and packaging
Each wood spirit comes with instructions. Remember the old saying "touch wood". Postage cost is £1.99 via Royal mail, unfortunately at present I only post to mainland UK.
Materials
I collect the wood from various woodlands and areas of interest in North Wales. I only use branches which have fallen to the ground due to wind or stormy conditions.
Colours and finishes
Wood spirits are available in either a natural finish with a coating of linseed oil, or various colours where an acrylic paint is used. A final light sanding to create that antique appearance, and then a wood glue/water sealant is applied for added protection.
